I’m barely keeping myself together. This is probably the most exciting beauty news to break since Dyson’s million quid hairdryer, and even that was only exciting because of how nuts it was.
Brown Thomas is launching a beauty box! It’s a concept we’ve seen from some other retailers – Cult Beauty does very lust-worthy collaborations with Caroline Hirons, LookFantastic has a subscription service and Cloud 10 Beauty has launched limited edition boxes for over a year now.
But Brown Thomas is the big daddy of beauty – they’ve got the brands you really want in a box. Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilbury, Nars! I’m weak!
Details are just coming in, so we’re lacking a lot of the picture. I’m writing a begging email for the full information while I’m writing this, two keyboards, one hand on each, sweating like a hacker at the climax of a 90s thriller. So far, here’s what we know about the Brown Thomas Beauty Box:
The first box contains sample sizes of luxe brands – La Mer, Estee Lauder, Aveda, Clinique and Glamglow.
It’s value is €200, meaning, if you bought the products individually, it’d set you back that much, but we can be sure the actual price of the box wont be that high. Update – It’s priced at €50, but you’ve got to spend €75 on beauty to be able to buy the product.
