I’m infatuated with the new Dior Addict Lip Glow in Coral, €33. Infatuated. After weeks of use, you could tell me it was made of spider legs and I’d still be piling it on. Thankfully, it’s an insect-free blend of creamy texture, glossy finish and long-lasting colour.
Feelings aside, it’s a fancy lip balm. Colour isn’t bold, but it last really well. Even when wiped off, it leaves a sheer coral stain. This, combined with how hydrating it is, makes it a great base for brighter lipsticks.
Alone, it’s a low-maintenance wonder. The staining means you won’t have to apply it often, and the light pigmentation makes it easy to whack on and go.
Dior pitches a gimmick – that the colour will adjust to suit you once it’s applied. I’m not noticing any jiggery-pokery, other than my naked lip shade peeking through under the opaque wash of colour, so don’t expect vast differences in how this wears on different people.
Marketed as a miracle, it’s really just a lovely product – and there’s no shame in that.
I don’t want to jinx this, but I think I might finally use a lipstick to the end of the tube. Imagine!

I love this one. The pink glow just don’t work for me, but coral glow is just perfect for spring. I’ve actually seen it turn my boss’ lips a bright coral, so I suppose it has to do a bit with the pigmentation of your lips as well. Seems to work lovely with your colours as well 🙂

I got the pink one and really like it. Really plumps up the lips and make them look so healthy. Only thing I found was that I have to apply it a couple of times a day for moisturisings, so I’m not sure if it’s mean’t to be a balm or lippie?

I think it’s a hybrid. I use Cicaplast in the morning and at night, this is just a nice top up. I don’t think I could rely on it if I had cracked lips, so I see what you mean.

I have Dior Addict lipstick in Jet Set, which looks very similar in colour to this and I love it. I like the idea of this being a balm as well.
