L’Oreal Glam Matte Lip Glosses, €11.99, launched in May. These babies are the kind I gravitate to, (read: run towards, waving my Boots card and eurobux) so I’ve no idea how the launch passed me by. Hey ho, I have ’em now!
L’Oreal Glam Matte Lip Glosses are similar to the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets that I love, but there’s a key difference.
The texture is creamier. Bourjois sets to a velvety finish, these set to a straight-up matte. While the Bourjois lot aren’t a pain to wear, these are even more comfortable. They feel like a gloss until they set, and then they’re barely noticeable. A few hours after application, you’ll feel like you need to apply a balm, but that’s it. No hassle at all.
The scent is exactly that of YSL Lip Laquer – fresh, sweet berries. It doesn’t linger, but it’s strong enough to make application feel that little bit fancier.
Colour pay-off is intense and lasts well – light years longer than your average opaque gloss or lipstick. There are four shades in the range, mine and a pinky coral that’s soon to be mine. I’m wearing Fuschia Flare above and in my Night Time Skincare Routine video.
Brushing aside that urban/grimy logo, the L’Oreal Glam Matte Lip Glosses are perfect.

I happened to be in Boots yesterday, happily strolling along when I stopped at the L’oreal stall and these caught my attention. I have yet to try the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvets but it seems like I have another product range to lust after and add to my already long ass list. Loving the sound of them wearing comfortable on the lips with sweet berries scent. I’m onto them 😉 Thanks for the review.

Hahaha, that logo is KILLING me. Bit too Jenny from the Block for my liking. Other than that though they sound great and I cannot wait to try! 🙂
