Glossy Red Lips featuring Shiseido, Bourjois and Revlon

I think the heat has gone to my head, because I’ve been feeling like vamping it up, all day, err day. Never one to set myself up for a fail, I usually skip any attempt to look sexy, but glossy red lips are a nod in that direction that even I can pull off. I think.

I’ve got three staples.

Bourjois Color Boost, in Red Island, €10.99 via Boots, is the one for me when I’m on the go. They crayon makes for handy scribbling and the texture is creamy enough to hydrate but not so greasy that it slips off.

Revlon Lip Butter, €11.20 via Boots, in Candy Apple, you old gem. I’m wearing it in the picture below. It’s just great. A heavy wash of colour and high shine, I feel like it’s 100% summer glam.

Little bit of luxe from Shiseido with the lip lacquer in, Lust, €25 via Arnotts. This is sheer, more of a gloss than anything, so I use it for a quick boost in colour. It’s spendy, but it’s lovely.

So, glossy red lips, yay or nay?
