Isadora Protect Face Primer SPF 30, €21.25. Press samples featured. Full disclosure policy here.
Roll your eyes, lads. I’m pitching a hard sell for the second time in as many weeks. Sorry! It’s Isadora Protect Face Primer this time. Absolutely brilliant stuff.
I was given this by Sue of Cherry Sue, Doin’ the Do, who knows I’ve a grá for a radiant finish. This is listed as a moisturising, anti-aging primer. And yep, those are pretty solid claims.
A bottle costs €21.25. A little more than chemist brands, but this doesn’t feel like a chemist brand primer. Not at all.
It’s heavy duty – my skin looks incredibly dewy when I have this on. So much so that I’d warn you off it unless you like a good dose of sheen.
There’s no glitter or shimmer, which is good news for pores. It’s just the cream – it really glows. Of all the moisturising primers I’ve tried, Isadora Protect Face Primer has the most visible effect.
Razzle-dazzle aside, it’s good on its priming merit alone. My foundation blends out smoothly and sits more evenly on my skin.
Dry-skinned pals and glow seekers, get on it.

Sounds lovely but would it suit my oily skin? I need maximum pore coverage!

Oh, I don’t think so. There’s a chance it would, but I’d say you’d be safer sticking with one that’s not based around being moisturising.

It sounds lovely! I’ve a few to finish but this is a definite contender for the next one. Isa Dora seem to be doing great things at the minute.

Before I even read your review my first thought was “Whoa she has glowing skin’ I was immediately jealous of how pretty your skin is. Then to find out you are using this product, and it gives you a glow now I must have it 🙂 love your blog!

Haha, awh, thank you! It is purely the primer – my bare face has the radiance of an old sock 🙂

This sounds brilliant! I am dry skin and I am obsessed with dewy base so this seems right up my alley. I’ve never heard of this brand before though, is it available in Canada?

I’ve had a quick look and I don’t think so, sorry! I see some Isadora products on Amazon though. This might make its way there when it’s more established 🙂
