Just Launched! Hydraluron Moisture Jelly Review

Lorraine_Haigney 5th August 2014

This Hydraluron Moisture Jelly, €29.99, post is a lesson to read the instructions. It’s also an early run-through of my first impressions and a shout out to the 1/3 off deal at Boots.ie, but we’ll get the cautionary tale of my sticky face out of the way first.

The packaging (I posted on Viva Adonis that it was the best thing since those Dyson hand-dryers) is a push-down pump. It’s clean, quick and easy. It also lets out more product than you need if you press it down too much.

With excitement, I was pushing like I had Salt ‘n’ Pepa cheering me on and ended up nearly drowning in jelly. There are worse ways to go, as this is bloody lovely stuff, but it was leaving an uncomfortable, sticky residue.

After a few uses, I read the back of the tub. The directions say nothing about my GREASE ME UP, WOMAN method, instead suggesting a pea-sized amount and compounding the notion that I’m an eejit. Using it sparingly totally stopped the sticky issue. I just press down the lid halfway, before excess jelly is unleashed, and all is well.

Carrying on with this Hydraluron Moisture Jelly package reading business, you’ll note that this doesn’t have a billion ingredients. It’s a pretty short selection of things that hydrate and things that make hydration hold.

That targeted approach to skin care is what keeps me forking out for Indeed Labs products – you know what issue the product treats and what results you should expect. It doesn’t make my face smell like roses or add a Victoria Secret shimmer, but my skin is as smooth as the belly of a marble Buddha.

There’s not much more I want out of a moisturiser, so I’ll be sticking with my Hydraluron Moisture Jelly for as many pea-sized uses as I can get.

I think I’d just buy this for the satisfaction of using the push down packaging. I really like the idea of that.

I’ve never heard of this brand, but that packaging is exceptional. Great idea! It sounds fantastic, I think a good moisture product just needs to be good at moisturizing. It doesn’t need to smell like a lotus flower’s arse or contain crushed angel wings or whatever.

I accidently the ‘nun’s foo’ comment, so this one is now my favourite. Never fail to make me laugh!
