La Roche Posay Nutritic Intense, €17 – €20.50. Press samples featured.
The newest addition to the range is Nutritic Intense – a moisturiser pitched at the driest of dry skins. You’ve getting a double-shot of opinions on this, as d’mother has been using the pot (€20.50) while I’ve been using the tube (€17). We’re both dry-skinned folk but my mam, being just a touch older, needs more hydration than I do.
Its main targets are dryness and discomfort. We’re promised a big boost in moisture, supple texture and an instant-but-lasting soothing sensation. Everything but the kitchen sink, which is ok because sinks make poor face creams.
So, few weeks after use, my mam is seeing a huge difference in her skin. Applied morning and night, it stops her foundation from flaking, and it’s gotten rid of that tight post-cleanse feeling (she won’t drop the foam cleansers -I know). She totally adores it, and says that she’d do away with the rest of her cosmetics if she could just keep this one. From my perspective, her skin looks super smooth and glowy. Crossing my fingers for those genes.
On me, this is an f-wording DREAM. It’s instantly comforting and deeply nourishing; the perfect treatment for winter-worn skin. It’s super rich, but it doesn’t take ten years to sink it. I mean, yeah, you’d find lotions that absorb faster, but for such rich stuff, it’s fairly speedy. Fantastisch, ja?
If you’re on the market for a really rich cream that won’t break the bank, I really recommend that you check the La Roche Posay Nutritic range out.
