Shimmy shimmy ya, shimmy yam, shimmy yay – ooh, baby, I like it shimmery. That’s where L’Oreal Lumi Magique, €15.29, comes in.
When not bastardising ODB songs, I’m trying to work some radiance into my dull complexion without forking out for my once-loved but fierce pricey Laura Mercier Radiance Primer. I’ve worked my way through a heap of affordable illuminating primers, but L’Oreal Lumi Magique has come out tops.
Flecks of golden shimmer create the bulk of brightness, but the carrier liquid’s pearly sheen is what makes for a gorgeous, all-over glow. Think uniform luminosity, rather than Kardashian stripes.
It’s neutral, so won’t aggravate the appearance of redness or high-colour like primers with warm tones. Ace for Celtic complexions!
Keep it away from enlarged pores, concentrate it on the areas you want to draw attention to – the higher the cheekbones, the closer to Christ – and you’re set. Absolutely loving it.

This sounds lovely but I’d have to steer clear of my awful pores with it:)

I’m using it on my dark circles too – working wonders!

Kardashian stripes hahaha. That’s the perfect description.

This sounds like a cheaper alternative to MAC Strobe Cream.
