L’Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense, €10.49. No press samples featured Disclosure policy here.
I don’t use liquid liner, so I don’t know why I bothered swatching L’Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim Intense. I think it might have been a symptom of Boots 3-for-2 fever. Must. Try. Everything.
Anyway, the throwaway swatch stuck around. Its longevity is fierce impressive. When I had to use elbow grease scrub it off a bedtime, I made a mental note to pick it up.
Even though the slim tip is long, I’ve found that it’s easy to stay in control. The applicator bends when pressed on skin, but it’s not too weak or wobbly. It won’t flail about when you’re trying to get a straight line. It’s a happy medium – not sloppy like a skinny brush and not hard like a dense nib.
Now, let’s hope I can get through the rest of the review without making more unintentional innuendos.
The shade I got, black, is black. That should go without saying, but you know yourself, black can be a whole bunch of greys in the liner world. I get a proper opaque finish in one swipe.
Its consistency is thin. I don’t run into any trouble when I have to layer it to correct mistakes, of which I make many. A fresh coat doesn’t melt away the previous one, nor does it cake or crack.
There really aren’t any snags or hiccups. I’ve been wearing it for long days and always end up without transfer, flaking or fading.
I’m converted. My pots of gel have been put out to pasture. It’s easy, it lasts and it’s not all that spendy. Success!

Impressed! Can’t apply liner to save my life. This looks relatively easy to apply – must check it out X

Oh, do! It’s my pick for ease of use 🙂

This is a great liquid liner from the drugstore actually one of the best I’ve tried 🙂 I switch up between liquid and gel but I prefer liquid when I’m in a hurry.
Lorraine Haigney
I’m the opposite! I think liquid is faster, but you can fix gel more easily when you mess up.

Oooo, this comes at perfect timing! I do love my liquid liner and have stayed faithful to my Maybelline Hypersharp but recently been thinking of trying something different. Will pick this up once my current one runs out, I love how intense the black is!

I was going to buy this the last time I was repurchasing liquid liner, but thought I wouldn’t like the applicator, I got a bourjois one instead which isn’t great, defo gonna try this next time, I love the original superliner but it can go on a bit thick sometimes. Love your thin little flick in the photo!

I love a thick flick, but it’s not the best on my eyeshape, unforch! Hope you like this when you get your hands on it 🙂

yup! this is one of my favourite liquid eye-liners. The felt part wears really well too, doesn’t lose shape like some x
Lorraine Haigney
I’d forgotten about that problem, when the nib starts splaying and you end up looking like Alice Cooper. Bleurgh!
Corinne
WOO! I had a similar experience. I always used pencil and then was sent a pen liner to used and loved it! I couldn’t believe how easy it was!

I use a different type of liner, but also from this range, and I love it. Stays all day and is black-black.
Lorraine Haigney
Oh yeah? I might have seen that one too, it’s all a blur! Me and sales, I can’t take the heat.

Sounds great. I have L’oreal gel eyeliner. I will definitely try this after this review.

Haven’t tried this, I have an eyeko one that I find too skinny and one from Catrice that I loved but it was LE. Will keep this one on the radar!
