If you’ve been in my company in recent days and haven’t been told to sniff my limbs, you are one of the few lucky ones.
I’ve been talking up the Molton Brown Rhubarb and Rose range, but figure a blog post will be more effective than my initial guerilla tactics.
While on my making-people-smell-me kick, I got the same reaction from everyone. This smells exactly like freshly cut rhubarb. My pal Fiona of Perfume Notes said it brought her back to snapping the sticks of celery that her dad grew. For me, it’s the smell that filled the room when my Granny used to make jam with the fruit from her garden. It’s rich, lush and totally authentic.
In terms not associated with memory, this is a sparkling, tart rhubarb. It’s rich, lush and totally authentic.
The shower gel is what you’d expect when you pay luxe prices for suds. It lathers really well, so you can use it as shaving foam, and its scent lingers in the air. I think this would make for a super bubbly bath too.
The lotion absorbs quickly, leaving a smooth, velvety residue. There isn’t a touch of greasiness or slip about it, you can get dressed immediately after application.
So yeah, it’s totally spendy, but it feels totally spendy. There’s a place for treat yo’self products in the word, and this range has earned it.
Signed sincerely, the lady who had two showers today so she could use this twice.
