I read a glowing review of NYX Wonder Pencil on the Cherry Sue Facebook page, and had to give it a whirl. Eye brightening, spot concealing, lip lining in one? Alright, cover me in two layers, please.
I’m loving the shade. There are three in the range, and Light is a great match for very pale skin.
So, task one, concealing the redness of my sleepy, sleepy eyes. It’s totally opaque, but, as it matches my skin, isn’t too stark a contrast. It’s subtle, but really effective. It hasn’t got the longevity of my favourite nude liner, Rimmel ScandalEyes, but I’ve been reaching for it more. The colour is a more flattering fit, so I don’t mind that I have to reapply.
As a concealer, it works just as well. I dot it over small spots of discolouration, using much less product than I’d have to if it were a cream product.
The lip thing is where I get lost. I imagine it’d be great at correcting an uneven lip line, but it’s not a shade I’d need on my mouth.
I really, really like NYX Wonder Pencil. Two thumbs up, and a goo for the rest of NYX’s relativity new-to-Ireland’s range, from me.
