Shiseido Ibuki Skin Care Range Review + Giveaway

Lorraine_Haigney 15th April 2014

Pitched as the solution to dryness, irritation and blemishes, the Ibuki range from Shiseido fits the bill for a young and bratty complexion. The name translates to ‘new breath’,  which is something that Cherry Sue told me, so might be a joke to make me look like an eejit, such are her levels of divilment. Keep your enemies closer, kids.

Shisedio Ibuki Moisturiser Serum Cleanser Review

Step one, the Gentle Cleanser. This foams up so suddily that rinsing it off is like having a re-birthing session for your face. It’s massively pleasant, honest. Though it’s creamy and free from beads, I get heavy-exfoliation results – totally polished, smooth and clean skin.

Long term, this has kept me free of blemishes and reduced clogging in my pores. Really v.  good.

Unforch, the majesty of the Gentle Cleanser doesn’t carry on to the Softening Concentrate, a light serum that I whack on before moisturising.  I didn’t notice any difference between using this and skipping it. Soz, Shiseido.

Back to the good stuff with the Refining Moisturiser. Its light and thin consistency makes for rapid absorption, but hydration lasts all day. This is really brilliant if you’re an early riser with no time to let rich creams sink in.

All in all, it’s a system that keeps my skin in its best possible condition. Don’t forget to head over to Cherry Sue to enter the giveaway for your very own set!

These sound interesting, great competition you two are running! Also, it means “new breath” (I believe-although google also said “breathe”! Counts as an entry, yes? 🙂
