I’ve gone through a woeful daily moisturiser drought – mostly because my skin care budget went on the Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Intense Moisture mask, with a little spilling over into my cake fund. When I had a few extra eurobux, Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Radiance Day Cream, €16.99, went straight into my Boots basket.
The daily version of the weekly mask, it smacks of the same lovely rose scent.
Its texture is a horse of a different colour – light and quickly absorbed, it’s the kind of lotion that works brilliantly under warpaint.
Hydration is a little heavy on my t-zone, the sun is not a friend to my sebum, but the dry areas on my face are totally in check. I just use a lighter hand when applying to sections that don’t need a kick in the day-cream direction.
I haven’t found a better daily moisturiser at this price point. Simple, clean formulation with a little rose-scented luxury, this is grand stuff.
Sorry that it makes for a bit of a boring post, but if you’re on a budget and in need of some skin care that does the job, Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Radiance Day Cream is you’re only man.
By the by, here’s a video I made about the best beauty bits that I took to London and Kent. Have a watch, give it a share if you’re feeling generous, and thank your stars that you’ll never be as awkward as I am in that seven minutes of footage.

Sounds lovely and I appreciate the use of the phrase ‘a horse of a different colour’ for some reason!

Always reminds me of the horse in The Wizard of Oz!
