The Penneys Lip Liner, Nude. PS…Love Lip Liner Pencil, €1.50. No press samples featured.
You probably all know Dee. She’s a lipstick genius, and pointed me in the direction of the nude Penneys lip liner pencil. Well, she mentioned it on Snapchat, but I took one look at it and felt it spoke to me on a deep and personal level. It’s beaut.
It hasn’t got a name, it’s just PS…Love Lip Liner Pencil, like the rest of shades in the range. So, I’m calling it the The Penneys Lip Liner, because when you hear people mentioning the range, they probably mean this one.
It’s a deep nude, with a kinda burgundy tone. I think it’s very similar to MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in Spice, only a little bit more red. Very wearable, and very trendy.
Quality is up there with the rest of my lip liners. In fairness, I don’t think there’s much you can mess up in this category. Once liners have good staying power, are a bit creamy and impart colour well, I’m happy. The Penneys Lip Liner does all that – and it’s over ten times cheaper than most of my liners.
I love the shade enough to wear it alone, so I rarely top it up with lipstick. On the occasions that I have, I whack on some of the nude shades from the Max Factor Colour Intensifying Balm range.

I do like this a lot, I picked it up ages ago and forgot about it until I saw it on Dee, there wasn’t one single one left in Mullingar the other day! They did have a purple one though that I might get, was really surprised at the quality, was expecting it to be a Dealz-esque hard pencil but it’s lovely and creamy. Looks gorge on you!

I must confess I walk by this range the whole time – will have to give it a second look now. Looks great!

There’s two very similar colours in this range. One is called Nude and the other is Desert Sand. The colour is written on the whit label
