You’ve probably seen the hype surrounding the new Essence Gel Nail Polishes over the last week. The range of 45 (!!!) polishes promises the best of both worlds; the shine and longevity of a gel manicure, plus the quick application and easy removal of regular polish.
The zillion shades are made up of four different finishes – Matte, Jelly, Oil Slick and Satin. I’m always one for picking favourites, and have to mention the finish of the Oil Slick polishes. Lads, these are BEAUT. They’re super shiny and flash different shades in different lights. Sue of Cherry Sue was wearing one at a launch and I made her hold her nails still so I could use them as a prop in my product shots.
